John’s Farm Becomes More Productive
John is a smallholder farmer and father of five. For many years, he struggled to grow enough food because of changing weather and poor farming methods. Through Transform Uganda’s climate-smart agriculture training, John learned how to improve soil fertility, conserve water, and use better farming practices. After applying the new skills, his harvest increased. He now produces enough food for his family and sells the extra produce at the local market. The additional income helps him pay school fees and meet household needs. Impact: Better farming skills helped one family improve food security and increase income.
