Robert Starts a Carpentry Business
Robert completed secondary school but could not find a job. He spent many months at home without a source of income. He later joined a Transform Uganda vocational training program where he learned carpentry and business management skills. After completing the training, Robert started making chairs, tables, and doors for local customers. His work became popular, and he started earning a steady income. Today, Robert supports himself and helps his younger siblings with school expenses.
Impact: Vocational training helped a young person create employment and become self-reliant.
